The Pliakes Family Album
Photographs from the family album of Steve and Lilly Pliakes, published with the society's record of their lives in Aegean Macedonia and in Canada.
Steve Pliakes — Stefo Plakov, as he prefers to introduce himself — came from the village of Zeleniche in the region of Lerin, in the Aegean part of Macedonia. These photographs are the family album that accompanies the society’s record of his life and that of his wife Lilly.
The album is published as the society holds it: the photographs carry no captions in the original. The life they illustrate is told in full in the genealogy record, Steve and Lilly Pliakes.
