The Canadian Macedonian Heritage Society, in partnership with the Literaturno Društvo “Brakja Miladinovci,” hosted a memorable literary event celebrating the work of Aco Šopov and the launch of the bilingual Macedonian-English edition of his poetry collection The Long Coming of the Fire. Held at St. Clement of Ohrid Orthodox Cathedral in Toronto, the gathering brought together members of the community, scholars, and poetry enthusiasts for an afternoon dedicated to Macedonian literary heritage and cultural expression.

The program featured distinguished speakers Christina Kramer, Professor Emerita at the University of Toronto, and Rawley Grau, an award-winning translator.
