It is my wish to express my deepest appreciation to all those who encouraged me to make this book a reality. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all Oshchimians who welcomed me into their homes and allowed me the opportunity to interview them. Specials thanks to my parents Nikola and Sofia Stefou for putting up with me and for answering so many of my questions. Also many thanks to my wife Laurie for her help in making this book possible.
