Macedonian Village, Whitby

Around 1945 two Macedonian immigrants, Stato Kozaroff and Vasil Phillips, founded an actual place called Macedonian Village in what is now Whitby — enterprise at the scale of a settlement. The Town of Whitby remembers them in the name of Phillips-Kozaroff Park.
