Leisure World — the Macedonian Wing

Closed 2014

Long-term care · Toronto · Greater Toronto Area

From 2001 to 2014 a Toronto Leisure World facility kept a dedicated Macedonian wing — care in the community's own language a generation before such things became policy goals. Its closing folded that care back into Canadian Macedonian Place's mission, where it began and continues.
