Michael Close — Fine Art

Painter · Toronto · Greater Toronto Area

An OCAD-trained Canadian Macedonian painter whose canvases carried the community's name to the highest tables: when the prime ministers of Canada and Macedonia met, the gifts exchanged were two original works by Michael Close. The society profiled him in 2008 on his art and his portrait of Mother Teresa, the most famous daughter of Macedonia's capital.
