The honour roll

Macedonia 2025

Diaspora economic-development organisation · International; strong Canadian chapter · Canada-wide

The diaspora's economic engine room: a non-political 'think and do tank' founded in 2007 to lift North Macedonia's economy through competitiveness, entrepreneurship and leadership training. Its Canadian bench is deep — Toronto-raised, Bitola-born banker-diplomat Lou Naumovski among the founding directors, Susan Niczowski (Summer Fresh) and Chris Pavlovski (Rumble) on the board, and the Kellogg School's executive-education programme for Macedonian leaders named for Mike Zafirovski, the Skopje-born executive who ran Nortel from Toronto.

Still trading?

If you are not sure, say so — a volunteer will check. A guess is harder to correct than a blank.

An owner, a founder, a family story — whatever you know.

One web address per line. A newspaper piece, the business’s own site, a community newsletter — at least one.

Address, telephone, website, when it opened, who runs it — whatever you have.
