Macedonian Treasures in Canada

FROM BABA'S HOPE CHEST: Macedonian Treasures in Canada was an exhibition of traditional Macedonian clothing and textiles presented in collaboration with THE MUSEUM FOR TEXTILES and CMHS member Angela Wood who was Curator of the show. The exhibition ran from March 1 to October 15, 1995. It showcased a significant number of Macedonian costumes, rugs and textiles that came from the homes of Canadians of Macedonian descent. This was a joint effort between the the Museum for Textiles and the Canadian Macedonian Historical Society.
